The capabilities of a full creative department — without the headcount.
hi! I’m maeve.
I build and lead creative teams for companies that don't yet have one, providing senior leadership, proven process, and vetted creative talent without the cost and commitment of building in-house.
My career has been spent at the intersection of creativity and operations, ensuring that strong creative work ships on time, on budget, and at standard. That experience spans agency-side leadership (Omnicom, WPP, GSD&M) and client-side roles across luxury design in New York, entertainment in Los Angeles, and advertising in Austin, where I am based today.
I am a certified Scrum Master with deep expertise in creative resource management, workflow design, and team development — and a firm belief that creative teams do their best work when the operational runway is clear. Clearing it is what I do.
The challenge
Your business needs consistent, high-quality creative output — campaigns, content, design, production. What it doesn't have is a creative department to deliver it. Perhaps one designer is carrying the workload of a full team, or marketing leadership is absorbing production management on top of its actual mandate.
The conventional options are imperfect: building an in-house team is a slow, expensive commitment, and full-service agencies bring significant cost and overhead of their own. There is a third model.
What I do
I serve as your creative department's leadership — and bring the department with me.
For more than a decade, I have built, scaled, and led multidisciplinary creative teams in agency and in-house environments, supporting brands including AT&T, Netflix, Southwest Airlines, Disney Networks, American Express, and Walmart. I have established a creative services department from the ground up, scaled a fully remote team 300% in a single year, and directed resourcing for 80 creatives across design, copy, production, and strategy.
I now bring that experience directly to growing companies: managing intake, prioritization, budgets, timelines, and quality, while staffing execution through a curated roster of senior freelance talent. The result is the output of an established creative department with the accountability of a single, experienced leader — without recruiting, management burden, or fixed payroll.
